I had the opportunity to do another piece of work for the great magazine, the Oxford American recently. Here's my portrait of the young Dr. John the Nite Tripper, for their Louisiana music issue.

Port Elliot Festival

I was lucky enough to be invited down to Port Elliot Festival by Caught By The River to paint some signs for their stage and bar area with Jon Mcnaught. It was a really fantastic festival, some of the highlights for me were music from Stealing Sheep and Cate le Bon, and a poetry performance by John Cooper Clarke, but it was packed full of interesting stuff to see and do.

Here's a few picture's of the work in progress, and the finished signs and letters Jon and I made.

Recently I've made a few cards for family and friends, the old team badge linocuts seem to go down pretty well with the football lovers.

The new paperback edition of Caught by the River's acclaimed collection of essays about British rivers has been released, with a new linocut cover by me. You can buy the book here, it's well worth a read, with excellent writing from people such as Jarvis Cocker, Irvine Welsh, Jon Savage, Roger Deakin and many more.
